Dhanya is the daughter of veteran actor-producer Ramkumar and Poornima Rajkumar. Now Dr.Rajkumar's granddaughter Dhanya Ramkumar is making her debut in Tamil cinema and the news is making waves in the industry. One of the thespian's close friends was the late Kannada Superstar Rajkumar and its well documented that Rajini did his best to rescue the senior from forest brigand Veerappan who kidnapped him in 2000.
